An oak and glass hideaway in the New Forest

The Studio is a luxury space for couples or single guests. There are full width bi-fold doors that lead seamlessly out to a small private lawn. Step back inside and there’s a polished Italian floor to most of the living space. Floor to ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light.

There are vaulted ceilings, south-facing windows and walls
where original artworks hang – all of which give more than a clue as to the the owners’ creative vocation. Twin grey sofa-beds and a red leather Italian settee take centre stage, with a number of floor standing lights, coffee table and cupboards.

Fibre optic Broadband

In the main space there’s a compact flat screen TV and an excellent DVD library for stay at home times. This oak and glass hideaway has a sound system with i-pod dock. For laptops and smartphones there’s decent speed wi-fi access too. Guests may be in a quiet part of the world, but that doesn’t mean being unconnected.

The Kitchen Space
The open plan fitted kitchen and dining area is at the convivial heart of this light and airy home from home. The main entrance door leads in from the parking area which is a level walk for our guests’ parked cars. There’s a welcome hamper and a bottle of chilled white in the fridge. The kitchen has a separate fridge and freezer for guests storing their own food. There’s a two ring ceramic hob with cooker hood and a combi-microwave oven.

The Bedroom
The bedroom is in the east facing part of The Studio, with its comfortable interior and modern lighting. Though compact, there’s a king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, hairdryer and fluffy bathrobes for guests.

The Shower Room
The Studio has a modern fully tiled shower room/toilet, with modern sink, low level WC, heated towel rail, heated illuminated mirror and a walk-in Mira shower.

Guest Parking
A gravel parking area is adjacent to the building and just a few level steps walk to the door. External lighting is a helpful touch when arriving at night, as the New Forest has no street lighting, but don’t worry, torch supplied!
